Quilted Table Banner

I made a table banner for the upcoming craft show, where I'll be trying to sell my art quilts for the first time. I made some double sided ribbon by fusing red fabric onto darker red...

...and then did some cursive. It's one ribbon per word-- I zigzagged over the edges to get the letters down.

Name Banner

66" x 16" Machine appliqued cotton, cotton batting.

The finished quilt is 66" long, which might be longer than my table at the show. The words take as much space as felt right, and after finishing the bed quilt, something this long was comfortable when it wouldn't have been before. I like that kind of comfort zone growth, but I'll be on the lookout for making something too big in the future.

Londinium Cable Scarf-- In Progress

After I finished my beautiful (but boring to knit) sweater, it was time for a challenge. Enter cables, cables, and more cables.

Londinium scarf in progress.

Here's the ravelry page.

Finished Sock Yarn Sweater!

The second of my two big projects is complete, blocked, and already worn out of the house two or three times!

Sock yarn cardigan is finally finished!

I sewed in grosgrain ribbon as facing because it was rolling in even after blocking. It's not perfect, but I wear it and love it, which is the important part.

This is a good representation of the colors.

I am still enthralled by these rich colors... and never, ever making a sweater out of sock yarn again!!!

Finished Bed Quilt!

It's big enough! It's warm enough! Buckaroo has claimed it as his own!

There is a finished quilt on my bed!

No small amount of subterfuge went into getting a cat-free photo.

The whole quilt sans cat.

Project 333 October-December

Here's a polyvore approximation of my 33-item capsule wardrobe for the next three months. You'll notice that I've learned from other cycles and changed clothes accordingly: I don't wear skirts or dresses and I sure do love sweaters and scarves!

Also, the teal trench coat is about a dozen times cooler in person.( It's iridescent.)

Dream: Pizza Floor

I scored 0/44 pizzas, enabling me to escape easily from the pizza floor.

What part of "pizza floor" don't you understand? I scored 0/44 pizzas, enabling me to escape.

There was more to it than this. I was wearing all white, but I'll admit that doesn't look great translated into drawing. I might change it when it becomes a quilt. I was so betrayed, in the dream, though, when one of my allies put on a blue shirt. We were all in those white clothes together... who did he think he was?
