I'm Back!

Hello friends and strangers,

It's been a busy couple of weeks. I've moved to Virginia where I'm starting my dream job tomorrow. More on that as soon as I figure out what company policies on picture taking at work are.

In the meantime, I've been working on a sky scarf. Each day, I knit two rows of garter stitch (out and back) representing the color of the sky around the middle of the day. Here's the first month-ish:

I can't make any promises about a new posting schedule right now, but I will make a point to have at least one post a week.

Zipper Pouches

For knitting supplies: circular needles are curled up in the square one and the long one, as you can see, is the right size for double-pointed needles and a few other accessories. Many of my needles were my grandma's and I think of her when I use them.

Accessory Pouches

Also note that I put the zippers facing the lefty way. Making my life easier one zipper pull at a time.

Organizing (and Heads Up)

I'm moving soon to start a new job! Posts won't be coming as regularly or as often for the next month or so.

Savor this Moment

One great thing about moving is the chance to declutter and organize. I've been thinking more about minimalism recently too.

Project 333 Minimalist Wardrobe JUL-SEPT

This is my third three-month experiment in a minimalist wardrobe. Here's what I'll be wearing for the next three months.

It's an approximation, but close enough to get a feel of the colors and shapes. I chose to omit purses from the list this "cycle" because I have three and I use three so I'm not concerned about my consumption in the purse department. Next cycle, maybe I'll bring my clothing items down to 20 and wear all the scarves I have and love. That would be an interesting experiment.
