It glows in the dark!!!
This was my first time cross-stitching for real, and I didn't use a pattern, just traced the Kinsmen's outlines onto the fabric and went for it. Came out all right, I think.
So that's what I've been working on during this long absence from blogging. That and those socks. They WILL be done by Christmas. They WILL.

Cool! I've wondered where to use the glow-in-the-dark yarn and thread. Great use!
ReplyDeleteAwesome - love it. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is *such* a cool idea! Best/most original use of glow in the dark thread I've seen!
ReplyDelete(Tho I'm not into doing 'humans' myself - I prefer flowers)
I looked at the glow in the dark picture from behind my hands. Ya never know what some folks will stitch! ;)
ReplyDeleteI think you did a marvelous job - this look great!
It was a pain to work with (and even worse to pick out mistakes- ugh!) but the glow-in-the-dark thread was worth it in the end.
ReplyDelete@Becky: hahaha! A good move... better safe than weirded out!
That's so awesome!
